WHY ARE THERE BIRDS IN MY DRYER VENT?
Birds love to make nests in cozy dryer vents, especially in the winter!
Solution? The nest needs to be removed and the vent on the exterior inspected and/or changed. If these nests are present in a dryers duct stop using it immediately and call a professional! Some nests can be 5 or more feet long and are a serious fire hazard!

All exterior vents are supposed to have a draft blocker on them to keep outside air from entering. These draft blockers get weathered and worn out, or stay open when a cleaning is needed.
